Terms and Conditions

• Please bring your own camping supplies
• Each tent (including canopy, if applicable) may use no more than 16 square meters of camping area
• If using small gas stoves, please go to the designated area as instructed
• The camping site will be assigned on-site by campground staff
• Once the booking is confirmed, all changes/cancellations will be handled according to the accommodation's cancellation policy and inclement weather arrangements. Please read the cancellation policy and inclement weather arrangements carefully first
• Latest check-in time is 6:00pm, earliest check-out time is 9:30am.
  If check-in/check-out is required before/after the specified service times: such as check-in after 6:00pm / check-out before 9:30am, must notify the booking department in advance for arrangements. If check-in or check-out procedures are not completed, the paid rental deposit will not be refunded.
• If early check-in or late check-out is required, must notify the booking department/guest services center in advance, and the campground will handle based on actual circumstances. Those who check in early or check out late must pay an hourly day camping fee of $500 per tent per hour according to the tent type (less than one hour counted as one hour).
• Upon check-in, each tent must pay a rental security deposit of $500 (cash only).
• The applicant for renting campsites / venue facilities must be at least 18 years old. For bookings in a personal name, the customer needs to present his/her valid identity document or passport for verification.
  Failure by the applicant to present valid adult identity documents will result in refusal of campsite/venue arrangements and waiver of rights to refunds or compensation.
• Please always supervise and care for accompanying children and elderly to ensure their safety. Guests under 11 years old must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or above to enter the campground. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or above when participating in activities or accessing facilities.

Rental Security Deposit:
Customers are responsible for any damage or destruction to campground facilities caused by accompanying campers, guests, employees, agents, and contractors, including but not limited to damage, soiling, or loss to any campground camping gear, furniture, lighting, fixtures, activity/sports equipment, lawns, plants, or fences. Customers must fully compensate for any costs arising from replacement, repair, cleaning, and damage.
Campsite and venue rental customers must pay the security deposit in cash before check-in/venue use. This amount will be refunded to the customer upon check-out/venue vacating (after deducting any compensation if applicable). If the deposit is insufficient to cover compensation, the customer must pay additional compensation fees.

Security Checks
At the campground entrance or any locations deemed necessary, guests' personal items may be subject to security checks. Additionally, campground management
reserves the right to refuse entry to any handbags, packages, or other items carried by guests.

The following items must not be brought into the venue:
a. Dangerous, harmful, or any illegal substances.
b. Any chemical or flammable items or equipment.
c. Wheeled recreational devices, including but not limited to skateboards, scooters, roller skates, inline skates, tricycles, and shoes fitted with
wheels (strollers, wheelchairs, and bicycles excepted).
d. Pets (guide dogs for the blind excepted).
e. Any type of weapons, or any objects that appear or give the impression of being weapons, or toy guns.
f. Glass containers (baby food and perfume containers excepted).

The following activities are strictly prohibited within the venue:
a. Selling or displaying any items or services for commercial purposes.
b. Distributing or posting any printed materials or flyers without written permission from campground management.
c. Carving or graffiti.
d. Unauthorized activities, marches, speeches, or other unauthorized public gatherings.
e. Displaying any flags, banners, or other slogans.
f. Photography, videography, or any form of recording for non-personal use.
g. Intentionally or negligently throwing or launching any projectiles; or shooting with any gun, air gun, bow and arrow, slingshot, or other devices. (Excluding controlled devices or facilities provided by West Garden)
h. Model airplanes or other remote-controlled flying devices.
i. Feeding any animals in the park, including aquariums, sheep, and birds, with feed not provided by the campground.
j. Privately setting up campfires, lighting candles, incense, fireworks, or open flames.
k. Erecting poles, tracks, fences, rods, tents, stalls, supports, buildings, or other structures without permission from campground management.
l. Privately setting up tents or camping gear for camping activities without permission from campground management.
m. Any fundraising activities without permission (including those of a charitable nature).
n. Gambling.
o. Any illegal activities, immoral, or inappropriate behavior.

Photography, Videography, or Audio Recording
a. Private photography and videography are permitted within the park. However, photography for commercial purposes must obtain prior approval from the relevant department. Without permission, photography, videography, or recording in any form for commercial broadcasting or transmission is strictly prohibited.
b. Any media interview activities conducted within the campground must be pre-arranged.
c. Campground staff may photograph, video, record, or reproduce images and/or sounds of any persons entering West Garden within the campground premises. Campground management reserves the right to use such images and/or sounds for any purpose without paying any fees to those persons.

Inclement Weather Arrangements

1) If on the check-in day, Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3, or Amber, Red, or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, and under circumstances where New World First Ferry/transport services continue as usual, the relevant accommodation check-in arrangements will proceed as normal.

2) If on the check-in day, No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal is issued, the following arrangements will apply:
a. If the Observatory announces it will be hoisted within two hours, the accommodation will be rescheduled to a check-in date of equivalent value, provided the new date is confirmed within 7 days.

b. If the signal has been lowered before 7:00 am, the accommodation arrangements will continue as usual.

c. If the Observatory announces it will be hoisted within two hours (applicable only to customers who have already checked in), the campground will close. For safety reasons, customers will be required to leave, and paid camp fees will not be refunded.

Customers may apply for one rescheduling within seven days from the original booking date; the selected date must be within sixty days from the original booking date. Failure to confirm within seven days will be deemed an automatic waiver, and paid fees will not be refunded. In case of any dispute, Holimood reserves the final decision.
