Terms and Rules

As the venue is an outdoor environment, guests must protect themselves and prepare mosquito and insect repellent measures!!

Participants must carefully read the venue rules before confirming their booking. Once the booking is successful, it will be deemed that they have clearly read and agreed to the relevant venue rules.

1. All fees paid are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another purpose.
2. If you book the camping experience (i.e. bringing your own tent to pitch), you may book to bring pets into the campsite. If you book the campervan experience or camping house experience, pets are not allowed.
3. To provide a peaceful environment for enjoying nature, we will ensure every guest enjoys adequate space. For campervan experience or camping house experience bookings, the maximum number of people for that item cannot be exceeded. Campers must not invite outsiders without permission. If the number of people is exceeded, the on-duty staff must be notified, and an additional fee of $100 per person will be charged. Due to insurance reasons, such persons must leave the campsite by 11:00 PM and may not stay overnight. Each camp may exceed the limit by a maximum of 2 people only. If more than 2 people are exceeded, the remaining persons will be charged under the camping experience item. Please take note.
4. When entering the campsite, guests please bring their own personal toiletries: e.g. slippers, towels, toothbrush🪥, toothpaste, body wash🧴, shampoo, shaver, camping lantern, etc. The storage-type water heater used in the campervan bathroom supplies hot water for about 5-6 minutes, with a preheating time of about 30 minutes.🛀🛀
5. Within the campsite area, campers must exercise self-discipline, dress properly, and must not be naked.
6. All camping guests must keep the environment and venue hygienic, must not damage flowers, grass, or trees, and must practise leave no trace. There are no rubbish bins at the venue; rubbish must be taken away by yourself. Lunghome will provide one rubbish bag per group of guests, and there is a rubbish station nearby.
7. Each camping guest will be allocated about 200 sq ft of grass space (about 100 sq ft per person for day camping). Staff will mark out positions with frisbees, and sufficient spacing will be reserved between different campers. Participants must note whether the equipment they bring (including guy lines) takes up too much space, so as not to exceed the stated usable area. Please do not move the frisbee markers without permission. If any equipment exceeds the frisbee boundary, even if it is less than 200 sq ft, Lunghome reserves the right to charge based on 200 sq ft.
8. Check-in time for the camping experience is 14:30-17:30 daily. Camping guests cannot enter or leave the venue between 18:00 and 10:00 the next morning. If they feel unwell or have an urgent matter and must leave, they will not be able to return to the campsite. Check-in time for the campervan and camping house experience is 16:00-18:00 daily. Cleaning🧹 time for campervans and camping houses is 12:00-16:00. Residents may check in after 15:30. Overnight guests must provide their own identity card (or passport) and the campsite's online booking confirmation for verification and registration. Those who have not completed payment must settle the bill first upon check-in.
9. Camping guests must leave the venue by 12:00 noon on the day of departure. A fee of $100 per person per hour will be charged for overtime, and any part of an hour will be counted as one hour.
10. All facilities at the venue are the private property of Lunghome. If damaged by camping guests, compensation must be made at the original price.
11. If other friends/guests will be using the venue on the same day, actual zoning and space allocation will be arranged. Please follow the instructions. (Please be mutually accommodating, coordinate and share privately, and do not occupy more than your share, making things difficult for the owner and becoming an unwelcome friend. If the owner needs to mediate due to the above actions, serious cases will be advised to leave immediately!)
12. All camping guests and vehicle parking spaces must be applied for in advance and fully paid. If the number of camping guests and vehicles exceeds the number applied for, Lunghome reserves the right not to add camping spaces or parking spaces.
13. Vehicles must be parked in designated positions. When parking, you must follow staff instructions, drive slowly, and park in the reserved positions. You cannot leave before the scheduled departure time, and you must not drive freely on the grass. If an accident occurs or any facility in the campsite is damaged, all responsibility will be borne by the driver. Vehicles must be parked in designated positions. Driving onto the grass without approval will incur a compensation payment of $1000.
14. Please supervise the safety of accompanying children. If any accident occurs to children at the venue, Lunghome will not bear any responsibility.
15. Parents must discipline and supervise accompanying children and must not affect other camping guests. If a complaint is received and advice is ineffective, Lunghome will ask undisciplined persons to leave immediately, with no refund.
16. Pets must wear a collar and be kept on a leash. They must not be allowed to roam freely, to avoid conflicts with other animals or getting lost.
17. Please supervise the safety of accompanying pets and do not cause inconvenience to other users. Pet waste must be cleaned up by yourself. If it is found that a pet owner intentionally fails to handle it, Lunghome will charge HKD$500 as a cleaning fee. If any accident occurs to pets at the venue, Lunghome will not bear any responsibility.
18. Pets cannot enter campervans or camping houses. If they are found to have entered campervans or camping houses, a $1000 cleaning fee will be charged.
19. If lighting a wood fire on the grass, a fire pit and fireproof mat must be used. If the grass is damaged for any reason, Lunghome will charge HK$500 per square foot.
20. If there is a need to smoke, please do so outdoors. We believe campers also do not wish to breathe second-hand smoke. Please also take note of cigarette butts and ash, and do not litter rubbish and cigarette butts indiscriminately.
21. Any mosquito coils and mosquito/insect repellent products must have a base support. Mosquito coil ash must not fall onto the ground indiscriminately, and the use of sulphur is strictly prohibited.
22. After 10:00 PM, all campers must keep quiet to avoid disturbing others:

• As there are residential homes near the venue area, please start keeping quiet after 10:00 PM and do not disturb the quiet daily life of residents.
• Music played at excessive volume and karaoke activities / mahjong games / outdoor projectors / loud shouting / gambling activities, etc. are not recommended / do not trespass or trample areas outside the venue area / do not pick any plants, firewood, or crops indiscriminately / do not feed animals inside or outside the venue area indiscriminately.
• Even on festive occasions, residents' daily routines must be balanced.
• If a complaint is received and advice is ineffective, Lunghome will ask undisciplined persons to leave immediately, with no refund.

23. The use of megaphones, kites, bicycles, scooters, drones, etc., and all ball games are prohibited.
24. Rented camping equipment must be set up, cleaned, and packed back into its original packaging by yourself, and returned to Lunghome in good condition. If there is any loss or damage, compensation must be made at the original price or deducted from the deposit.
25. [Important] Food waste disposal must follow the method we provide to ensure the village septic tank is not overloaded.
    The venue provides simple toilet facilities, but friends please exercise self-discipline and keep them clean to avoid affecting other campers' use (the venue will not have staff providing immediate cleaning services).
    b. The water supply sink provides water for cleaning, but please keep drainage smooth. If there is a blockage, staff [will not be able to] handle it immediately, so as to avoid affecting other campers' use.
    c. Campers must arrive at and leave the campsite at the designated times. If delayed check-in or early departure is needed, campsite staff must be notified in advance.
26. Cooking is strictly prohibited inside campervans, and high-voltage electrical appliances such as induction cookers must not be used.
27. Do not enter the office area, storage room, or kitchen without permission.
28. Keep personal belongings safe. If lost or damaged, you are responsible for them yourself.
29. Lunghome reserves the right to make all changes regarding venue arrangements, including cancelling bookings and facility rentals.

*If there is any violation of these campsite rules or other unlawful or improper behaviour, campsite staff have absolute authority to decide all handling matters. All fees paid will not be refunded, and the person will immediately be blacklisted, with no right to dispute*

Severe Weather and Booking Date Change Guidelines

〖Severe Weather Guidelines〗
If the Observatory issues a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning, or Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above before 12:00PM on the day of check-in, the booking date may be changed once free of charge. Guests must provide a new booking date within seven days from the original check-in date, and the new booking date must be within 60 days of the old booking date.

If check-in is cancelled for any reason (except under the severe weather guidelines), it will be treated as voluntarily giving up the booking, with no refund or booking date change. If a booking date change is needed, it must be requested at least 14 days before the check-in date. Lunghome will charge 20% of the total amount (including car park fees and rental item fees) as a handling fee. Guests must provide a new booking date within seven days from the original check-in date, and the new booking date must be within 60 days of the old booking date. If the amount decreases, the difference cannot be refunded.

In case of any dispute, Lunghome reserves the right of final decision.
