【Sai Kung Sham Chung】Half day kayak ecological tour

• Internationally recognized professional coaches will take you away from the noisy downtown to experience the quiet and mysterious side of Hong Kong, and use Kayak or SUP boards to enjoy the natural ecology and geological wonders of the sea area at close range. 
• Most of the activity venues will have scenic spots of international geological value in Hong Kong Wetlands. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery and learn marine ecological knowledge when you go to sea for ecological tour. 
• The trip will pass through small rural areas, You can experience the only small fishing village in Hong Kong and understand the rural culture of the past

🛶Water sports courses certified by the Hong Kong Surfing and Vertical Board Association have been held many times in the past 20 years.

🛶Only coaches with rich experience and professional qualifications shall be employed. Coaches shall have professional qualifications and first aid qualifications for relevant sports to prevent emergencies

🛶All courses will be conducted in small groups, with the safety of participants as the first priority in planning courses and activities.

🛶Participants will be taught in a concise and simple form in the courses and activities to provide you with the most enjoyable learning environment and experience activities.

• Basic skills of vertical board；For example, safety knowledge about how to paddle forward or backward in the posture of prone, kneeling and standing 
• SUP board；How to correctly fall into the water to prevent injury 
• After the course is completed, you will be issued with an e-Certificate issued by the Hong Kong surfing and upright board Association 
• A professional coach will take you to explore the coast under Kei Ling Ha and let you integrate into the embrace of nature n enjoy the natural environment of mangroves under Kei Ling Ha and experience this leisure and fun water activity

🛶The coach gives guidance in an easy and clear way, and can teach in different languages

🛶Sham Chung, originally a wetland, is located at the mouth of Hai Hai at Kei Ling Ha, Sai Kung. It is one of the 12 priority sites recommended by the government for conservation.

🛶The coach will take you all the way along the waterway, through the dike bar in Kei Ling Ha, while enjoying the scenery such as "Shiya Tou", "Shiwu Mountain" and "Thrushcross Mountain", mangroves, shoals and nearby fish rafts.

🛶Only a few village houses in Sham Chung are still inhabited. One of them has a teahouse, which is famous for Hakka stewed pork and oyster cake（similar to oyster fried）

🛶Sham Chung has a prairie and inner lake. It used to be a rice field. The scenery is extremely beautiful and quiet.

09:30 / 13:30 The coach will assign equipment to each student, explain the route and the weather of the day
09:45 / 13:45  Starting from Kei Ling Ha, 
10:30 / 14:30 Continue to Yung Shue O
12:00 / 16:00 After arriving at Sham Chung Bay, prepare for the return trip and follow the coach's arrangement to decide the return route 
13:00 / 17:00 Return to Kei Ling Ha San Wai. After returning the equipment, you will be disbanded. The distance is about 8 km.
