Campground Introduction
- The campsite is located at the southwest corner of Cheung Chau, with 11 acres of land in the park divided into four themed camping areas. The campsite offers a unique outdoor natural ecological experience, allowing close-up viewing or contact with various creatures. The flowers, grass, trees, butterflies, bees, reptiles, etc., in the park are all part of nature.

Camp Area Details
- Star Sea Forest, your exclusive nearly 3,000 sq ft grass platform, equipped with 300 sq ft living tent and leisure facilities.
- In this luxurious private space, you can share the starry sky with family and friends by the campfire, or light a fire in the dining area for bush cooking and barbecue dinner. Living in a transparent geodesic dome, you can sit comfortably inside the tent to enjoy the sea view of Cheung Chau's Sok Yu Wan, gaze at the distant Lantau Island coastline, watch boats shuttling back and forth, and enjoy the sunset scenery. At night, look up through the skylight to see twinkling stars and feel the wonders of all things in nature.
- The tent is about 300 sq ft and can accommodate up to 4 people, with a double bed and a double sofa bed inside the room.
- The tent has a stargazing floor-to-ceiling skylight for viewing the stars. The tent is equipped with a tea table seating area; each tent also has air conditioning, hot and cold water shower, and independent toilet, providing campers with a luxurious and comfortable camping experience.
- No refrigerator in Star Sea Forest; can rent an insulated box with ice (includes 2 bags of ice) at the campsite office. If additional ice is needed, guests must pay an extra fee.

Stoves and Barbecue Meals
- The campsite provides optional freestanding barbecue stove (for about 12 people) with two bags of charcoal (+$300.00) / tabletop barbecue stove (for about 3-5 people) with one bag of charcoal (+$120.00) for rent. All barbecue stove rentals include charcoal, cooked food plates, ignition tools, barbecue grill, and tongs. Please bring your own tableware, but food must be self-provided.
(Star Sea Forest already includes freestanding barbecue stove) - Additionally, the campsite welcomes self-provided stoves and food: Outdoor cooking set (burner X1, pot X1, fuel X1) (+$150.00), but must follow staff instructions to cook in appropriate places.
🚌Transportation Directions:
🛥️Take ferry from Central Pier 5 to Cheung Chau (fast ferry about 35 minutes, ordinary ferry about 1 hour)
1. Walking: From Cheung Chau Pier, walk right towards Cheung Chau Market. Then along the seaside on ‘Cheung Chau West Reclamation Road’ towards Sai Wan direction
to the end, see ‘Happy Store’ turn left up ‘Zan On Road’. At the top of the slope, see Sai Yuen's big red sliding door. Entire walking journey about 20 to 25 minutes.
2. Bicycle: Rent a bicycle from bike rental shops near Cheung Chau Pier to go to Sai Yuen. Sai Yuen provides limited paid bicycle parking spaces (excluding tricycles).
3. 🛥️Kait ferry: From the public pier to the right of Cheung Chau Pier (under the white canopy), take ‘Wah Shing Kait’ to ‘Sai Wan Pier / Cheung Po Tsai Cave’ (boat ride about 10 minutes), from Sai Wan Pier turn left onto ‘Zan On Road’ passing ‘Big Pai Fang’ and ‘Mei Ging Yuen Village’, go up the slope and see Sai Yuen's big red sliding door. Journey about 4 minutes.
